Entry Requirements
Your passport needs at least 6 months left on it. You'll need a Ghana entry visa and a Yellow Fever card. We send you an official invitation letter to make that easy.

What dates is the 2027 tour?
The 2027 BLAXIT VIP Relocation Tour runs May 23 through May 30, 2027, on the ground in Ghana. The Summit itself is Wednesday, May 26 and Thursday, May 27. Fly out of the USA Saturday, May 22 to land in Accra Sunday, May 23. Checkout is Sunday, May 30 by 11 AM, and you're home in the USA Monday, May 31.
Why isn't my flight included in the price?
Fair question, especially with a flight and a week off work already on your plate in this economy. We keep flights separate because airfare swings wildly by city, season, and how far out you book, folding an average into the tour price would mean some guests overpay and others get a number that doesn't match their real cost. What we do cover is everything from the second you land, the driver, the hotel, every meal on the schedule, and your VIP Summit seat, so the flight is the one variable left for you to shop and book on your own terms.
Do I need to book my own flights?
Yes. Your international flight isn't included in the tour price, you book your own round-trip to Accra International Airport. Fly out Saturday, May 22 to land on time Sunday. Once you touch down, we've got the rest.
What hotel will we stay at?
We're tentatively based at The Alisa Hotel in Accra, or an equivalent premier property. We'll confirm the final venue with everyone registered once it's locked.
What's the difference between Double and Single occupancy pricing?
Double is $4,497 per person and means sharing a room with another guest, king or twin depending on availability. Single is $5,497 per person for your own private room. Both include the exact same tour, meals, and VIP Summit access, the only difference is whether you're sharing a room or not.
What if I'm not sure I want to relocate yet?
Honestly, that's exactly who this tour is for. You don't need your mind made up, you need to see it, feel it, and talk to people who've already made the leap. Most guests show up with questions and go home with clarity, whether that clarity is "yes, this is it" or "not yet, and now I know why." Either way, you decided from experience instead of guessing.
Can I attend the Summit without the tour?
Yes. General Admission, VIP, and Legacy Summit tickets are all available on their own at summit.expatlifeghana.com. The Tour is the VIP track, you get here early, get the heritage and scouting week, and walk into the Summit already VIP. If the Summit itself is really all you're after, a standalone ticket's the right call.
Is there a payment plan?
Yes, Affirm and Klarna are both available at checkout, so you can split your tour cost into monthly payments that actually fit your budget. Pick your option when you reserve your spot.
What's the minimum group size to run the tour?
We need 6 rooms booked minimum to run it. If we don't hit that, every deposit gets fully refunded, and registered guests get General Admission Summit access instead. We cap it at 20 guests so the access and the closeness stay real.
Do I need a visa?
Yes. US citizens need a Ghana entry visa and a Yellow Fever vaccination card. Once you register, we send an official invitation letter to back up your application. Your passport needs at least 6 months left on it past your travel dates.
What if something goes wrong while I'm in Ghana?
Tony and Ayo have been on the ground in Accra since 2020 and have hosted hundreds of diaspora travelers. They've got trusted medical partners in Accra and a real plan for whatever comes up. We still recommend travel insurance, and we'll point you to providers we trust once you register.
