OVERVIEW & ACCEPTANCE Thank you for joining the Relocation Summit and/or BLAXIT Relocation Tour (collectively, the "Experience"), operated by Expat Life Ghana LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By reserving, purchasing, or participating in any Experience provided by Expat Life Ghana LLC, you ("Client," "Guest," or "You") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to you, all members of your travel party, and all minor dependents in your care.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This document affects your legal rights, including your right to sue, and contains strict policies regarding cancellations, refunds, code of conduct, and intellectual property.
1. PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
1.1 Booking & Deposits Individual space is reserved by payment of the initial deposit or full payment. All payments are processed in USD. A non-refundable administrative fee of $75.00 USD is included in all bookings to cover processing and administration.
1.2 Cancellation Policy (Strict) We begin incurring costs (vendor deposits, staffing, supplies) immediately upon your booking. Therefore, our Cancellation Policy is strictly enforced regardless of the reason for cancellation (including personal emergencies, illness, or work conflicts).
* Cancellation within 48 hours of booking: No Refund.
* Cancellation more than 45 days before start date: 100% Refund (less the $75.00 USD admin fee).
* Cancellation 31 – 45 days before start date: 75% Refund.
* Cancellation 8 – 30 days before start date: 50% Refund.
* Cancellation within 7 days of start date: 25% Refund.
Note: If the calculated refund is less than the $75.00 administrative fee, the refund amount will be $0.00.
1.3 CHARGEBACK WAIVER & DISPUTE RESOLUTION (IMPORTANT) By purchasing this Experience, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the strictly non-refundable nature of the Deposit and the Cancellation Policy listed above. You expressly waive the right to initiate a credit card chargeback or dispute for any reason legally covered by this Agreement, including but not limited to "buyer's remorse," personal schedule changes, or dissatisfaction with the itinerary.
You agree that any chargeback initiated in violation of this agreement will be considered a breach of contract. Expat Life Ghana LLC reserves the right to pursue full payment, legal fees, and a $500 administrative penalty for the resources required to respond to the dispute.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & MEDIA
2.1 Protection of Content (The "BLAXIT Blueprint™") The content presented at the Relocation Summit, including the "BLAXIT Blueprint™," workbooks, slide decks, and speaker presentations, is the proprietary intellectual property of Expat Life Ghana LLC.
No Recording: Video or audio recording of Summit workshops, private Q&A sessions, or guest speaker presentations is strictly prohibited.
Personal Use Only: Materials provided are for your personal relocation use only and may not be resold, republished, or taught as a separate course.
2.2 Publicity & Media Release You grant Expat Life Ghana LLC an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your image, likeness, and voice (in video or still photography taken during the Experience) for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes without compensation to you.
3. CODE OF CONDUCT
3.1 Zero Tolerance Policy To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, Expat Life Ghana LLC maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding:
Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behavior toward staff, fellow guests, or locals.
Illegal drug use or excessive intoxication.
Disruptive behavior that negatively impacts the group dynamic.
3.2 Right to Remove Expat Life Ghana LLC reserves the right to remove any participant from the Tour or Summit at any time for violation of this policy. In the event of removal, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for your own lodging and return transportation costs.
4. DISCLAIMERS: REAL ESTATE & INVESTMENT
4.1 No Financial or Real Estate Advice You acknowledge that Expat Life Ghana LLC is strictly a tour operator and educational platform. We are not licensed real estate agents, financial advisors, or attorneys in Ghana or the United States.
4.2 Scouting & Introductions Any introductions to developers, real estate agents, bankers, or government officials during the Summit or Tour are for educational and networking purposes only. Expat Life Ghana LLC does not endorse, guarantee, or warrant the services, products, or land titles offered by any third-party vendor.
4.3 Due Diligence You are solely responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any financial transaction or purchasing property. You agree to hold Expat Life Ghana LLC harmless from any financial losses associated with investments, purchases, or contracts entered into during or after the tour.
5. LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
5.1 Assumption of Risk You acknowledge that traveling to West Africa involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: lower standards of hygiene, different medical facilities, transportation risks, and exposure to diseases (including Malaria and COVID-19). You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
5.2 Force Majeure & Infrastructure Acknowledgment Expat Life Ghana LLC is not liable for failure to perform duties if such failure is caused by Acts of God, war, pandemics, or government restrictions ("Force Majeure"). Furthermore, you acknowledge that Ghana infrastructure differs from North America. We are not liable for disruptions caused by "Dumsor" (power outages), water shortages, internet failures, or road conditions. While we utilize high-quality accommodations to mitigate these issues, you accept these realities as part of the destination experience.
5.3 Release of Liability You hereby irrevocably release and hold harmless Expat Life Ghana LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, injury, or death arising from your participation in the Experience. This includes injury or loss resulting from the negligence of third-party suppliers (hotels, drivers, airlines).
5.4 Medical Issues & Insurance
Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive Travel Insurance to cover medical emergencies and trip cancellations.
Medical Care: Expat Life Ghana LLC does not provide medical advice. In the event of illness, you authorize us to secure medical treatment at your expense.
6. LODGE & ACCOMMODATION RULES
6.1 Smoking Policy Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all rooms, patios, balconies, and tour vehicles. A cleaning fee will be charged for violations.
6.2 Damages You are responsible for any damage caused to the property or vehicles by your deliberate or negligent acts. We reserve the right to charge your card on file for repairs.
